South Korean game outfit Com2uS has announced that Google Cloud has become the first “volunteer validator” for its XPLA gaming blockchain.

Based on the same Tendermint technology underpinning Cosmos, XPLA is currently supporting all of Com2uS’ blockchain games including Summoners War: Chronicles, Ace Fishing: Crew and MiniGame Part

XPLA is currently working with 64 node validators including the likes of Animoca Brands, SK Networks, Blockdaemon, Chorus One, YGG, Venly, Gumi and Delight Labs.

As for Google Cloud, XPLA is the latest in a long line of blockchains it’s supporting including Polygon, Celo, Solana, Flow and Ronin.

“We are delighted to announce Google Cloud is joining XPLA as a new validator, and to partner to advance our common vision to shape a transparent web3 ecosystem and deliver innovative and engaging web3 experiences to our players around the world” said XPLA Team Lead’s Paul Kim.
